COVID-19: Important information for your stay at our hotel

Ladies and gentlemen,

dear guests,

We take your safety and well-being, as well as the one of our employees, as our utmost priority; therefore we have implemented and adhere to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and disinfection to address COVID-19 in collaboration with international medical experts and following the recommendations of the Robert-Koch Institute and the current Corona ordinance of the federal state of Brandenburg. Please note that the federal regulations are subject to constant change, therefore all information on this website is without guarantee. We try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

An overview of our measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in the different hotel areas:


General

Who is authorised to stay at our hotel?

Only if the 7-day incidence is 20 or higher, proof of (full) vaccination, recovery or a negative antigen test result no older than 24 hours must be presented. No retesting is required during stays of multiple days.

  • Alhorn Apotheke, Kastanienallee 27, 14471 Potsdam. Approx. from the hotel: 1.5 km
  • Testzentrum Brandenburger Tor, Brandenburgerstra├če, 1447 Potsdam. Approx. from the hotel: 3 km
  • Potsdam Hauptbahnhof UCI, Babelsberger Str. 10, 14473 Potsdam. Approx. from the hotel: 4 km

Is the wearing of a mask mandatory in the hotel?

Yes, it is mandatory to wear a community mask or an FFP2 mask at all  times in public hotel areas.

Is there the possibility of digital contact tracing?

Yes, digital contact tracing in our hotel is carried out via the luca app.

Further measures taken by the hotel:

  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in all public hotel areas.
  • Distance restrictions in the entire restaurant area.
  • Restrictions on access to the restaurant during breakfast time. For more information on people restrictions, please refer to the respective signs on site.
  • Public areas are cleand and disinfected at a higher frequency.
  • To protect both our guests and employees, the front desk is fitted with plexiglass panes.
  • Information on the mask requirement is posted throughout the hotel.
  • Marking to maintain the safety distance on the floor.
  • In order to minimise contact points and transmission routes, your room is only entered for cleaning after check-out. If you would like to have cleaning inbetween, please reach out to our front desk staff.

Breakfast

Does the hotel offer breakfast?

Yes, wwe offer the regular breakfast buffet. However, to the current Corona regulations (minimum safety distance, etc.), the number of seating in the restaurant and on our summer terrace is limited. More detailed information on the maximum number of people during breakfast can be obtained from our on-site reception. Please book a table as early as possible at our front desk so that we can take your preferred timeslot into account.

Gastronomy

Does the hotel offer lunch or dinner?

Due to the current situation our restaurant, bistro and bar remain closed until further notice. Our front desk team is happy to recommend you good restaurants in the closer surroundings. Thank you for your understanding!

Does the hotel offer room service?

Due to the current situation, we do not offer room service until further notice. Thank you for your understanding!

 

Meetings & Events

Can conferences currently take place?

Yes, but please note that our meeting room capacities are limited to max. 6 people per room due to the current situation. Food & beverage contained in the conference flat rate are provided individually packed outside the room. The federal social distancing regulations apply. A separate entrance to and exit from the meeting rooms is available. Thank you for your understanding and consideration!
